    Practice Administrator

    Mobile Heart Specialist P.C. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Practice Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our cardiology practice. As the Practice Administrator, you will be responsible for managing both the clinical and administrative functions of the practice, ensuring the highest level of patient care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, particularly in a cardiology setting, and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership & Staff Management:  

    • Provide leadership and supervision for administrative and clinical staff, including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and support personnel.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain staffing schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
    • Manage the recruitment, training, and development of staff members.
      Financial Management:  
    • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to ensure the financial health of the practice.
    • Analyze financial reports, track revenue and expenses, and implement cost-effective strategies to improve profitability.
    • Manage billing, coding, insurance reimbursements, and payer relationships.
    Operational Oversight:  
    • Ensure smooth daily operations, including patient flow, appointment scheduling, and clinical workflow.
    • Manage inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and office materials.
    • Implement and monitor practice policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and patient care.
    Compliance & Quality Assurance:  
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and healthcare accreditation standards.
    • Monitor and maintain the quality of patient care services, ensuring continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for accreditation and compliance purposes.
    Patient Relations:  
    • Work with the management team to address patient concerns, ensuring excellent patient satisfaction and addressing any complaints or issues in a timely manner.
    • Foster positive relationships with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
    Technology & Systems Management:  
    • Oversee the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare management systems to ensure optimal utilization.
    • Oversee IT support for practice-related technology, ensuring seamless integration and workflow.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration, with a focus on cardiology or similar medical specialty.
    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing/coding practices, and insurance requirements.
    • Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a multidisciplinary team.
    • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Proficiency with EHR systems and healthcare management software.
