    Summary:

DEI training and initiatives are absolutely essential and, oh, the rewards you’ll gain when your organization gets it right! But, how do we get buy-in to support an initiative for these types of potentially complex, sensitive programs and where do we begin? What can we do as HR professionals to help leaders and teams understand the importance of this initiative as well as support it? And, are there things we can do to help people uncover their own biases in order to help eradicate them from their daily business interactions?

Join us for this interactive workshop, as we discuss the answer to these questions as well as:

    • Identify why implementing DEI programs are important to leaders, employees, and organizations as a whole.
    • Activity for identifying similarities and differences.
    • What is meant by a diversity and inclusion program?
    • Why is a DEI program important?
    • Discover eight tools to help create an effective DEI program.
    • Share a variety of DEI tools to help implement a DEI program.
    • Define who’s at the forefront of assuring DEI initiatives are embraced, implemented, and sustained within an organization.
    • How leaders impact the success of a DEI program.

Program participants will partake in a variety of activities to help them quickly identify personal biases and commonalities as well as what they can do to drive positive culture change across your organization. Learn what leaders can do to support a DEI program.

    Learning Objective:

Identify a top-down strategy that encourages the implementation of DEI programs and share the importance of DEI strategies as it pertains to leaders, employees, and organizations as a whole.

Share methods with others in their organization that supports and implements a supportive and positive corporate culture through the implementation of DEI programs.

Develop practices and training activities that create ah-hah moments for leaders bringing awareness to cognitive biases and awareness to supportive and effective leadership traits.
